Environment and Sustainability

Students are inculcated values around environmental sustainability and encouraged to strive for zero wastage and pursue waste-diversion programmes. It is envisioned to leverage solar energy as an alternate source of sustainable energy to address the campus requirements in the future. This is expected to be completed in tandem with the completion of the construction activities at the college.

 Sports and Recreation facilities

At Sri Sathya Sai Prashanthi Niketanam Junior College for Women, a lot of emphasis is given to fitness of the body and mind. A healthy body and a strong mind are essentials for goal attainment in life. Therefore, all students of the college are expected to participate in various sports activities like Yoga, Judo, Athletics, Badminton, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, etc.

 Clubs and Societies

Indian culture and heritage are an integral part of the curriculum of our college. Eventually, students can avail of dual degrees, one in academics and the other in arts and culture. In addition, the college will have clubs for interested students to take up religious study and spirituality workshops. Students are actively encouraged to play an active part in various activities offered in the college.

 Student Welfare

The well-being of our students is of the utmost importance to us. Strong individuals make a strong society and a strong nation. A detailed welfare support system has been sketched out for our college where all students are provided 24/7 support to ensure their physical and emotional well-being. All the teachers and the staff have been trained to look beyond the academic perspective and help the students to excel and perform beyond their limitations.
